Quality control HACCP

Quality is one of the target areas of Visser. In order to bring this slogan into practice, Visser operates an internal food quality system which is based on the HACCP principles. HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. These principles serve as a guideline for a preventive system which is applied in the food processing industry to protect food-safety. Along the lines of 7 core criteria, all possible threats to quality and food-safety need to be mapped. After specifying the potential threats, it is mandatory to show how these threats are to be controlled and checked.

The HACCP quality system needs to be tested by an independent research body,  to see if all demands of the quality system are met. In the case of Visser Kaashandel this independent check has led to a full HACCP certification. This means that you, as a relation, can be sure that all products of Visser Kaashandel are produced with the greatest care for quality and hygiene.
